City Slicker

Justin was kind enough to paypal me a few bucks so I could go pick up a good ol' malt liquor for myself. His email requesting that I pick up a "Steel Reserve" didnt make it through to me unfortunately, but I think I did a fine job by going down to Chicago-Lake Liquors in South Mpls and picking up a fourty that makes all other fourtys have liquor-envy....a "City Slicker".
This isn't one of those beers that rings a bell in most peoples memory banks from their college days like Colt 45 or Mickeys does. In fact, I had never heard of it before, and that was my reason for picking it out...thought I'd try something new.
I took my city slicker to a poker game with me, hoping that the slicker would bring me luck. And as it turns out he was lucky. I walked out of there with five dollars in nickels and dimes then I walked in with. So take note all of you gamblers, no need to blow on dice or rub a bald guys head, just go out and get yourself a cold one of malt liquor and luck will be on your side.

So I guess I still owe it to Justin to track down a Steel Reserve. Not sure if I'll be able to track one of those down in Minneapolis, but if I do, I'll post it here.
