My roommate Stephanie sometimes will bring me home a little treat. This time it was a big brown bottle of St. Bernardus Belgian Abby Ale.
If I was a monk, and I brewed beer, this is what I would make. Damn, those monks really knew what they were doing. I drank this beer at my good friend Reed's house, where we prepared ourselves a virtual feast of baked root vegetables and breads and cheeses and all kinds of goodies.
Afterwords, I tried ice skating for the first time since I was twelve years old. I'll tell you something, it may look easy, but believe me, it's not. I need to go now to tend to my sore bum...
